Hi there! I'm Tanya Perdikoulias and I am a boutique family photographer.

What does boutique mean? Boutique means that I walk my clients through the entire process of portrait artwork - from conception to archival heirloom artwork physically on the walls or in an album.

We start by observing the walls of the home that could be "livened up with artwork." I get to know the personalities of those who will be in the portraits and we come up with creative ideas to make the portraits beautiful and uniquely customized to the family dynamics. We come up with potential ideas.

When we do the photography session, I am equipped with specific ideas for us to try. For example, one of my clients was a DJ. We created artwork of his newborn baby boy that involved his favourite albums of all time. Another example is of the little girl of one of my clients who "floated away" from her dogs Mary Poppins-style.

Once the images have been selected, I print them on the highest quality archival paper or canvas or metal, frame them according to my clients' decor style, and bring them to their home, ready to hang. No need for the digital images because I do the printing!

As a mom of two teenagers I am painfully aware how fast kids grow up. I have taken thousands of pictures of them, trying to stop moments in time. The most precious moments, the ones we made an effort to dress up for, the ones where their mindsets were ready to be creative and fun, are the portraits that have the honour of being displayed as artwork on our walls.

My main focus as a professional photographer is to put artwork on the walls of our loved ones (even the furry ones) for people to constantly see and make the home feel both loved and those who live in the home, feel treasured.
